Town of Varick and Seneca County Maps
This house at 5102 Route 89, Varick, is called "The Inn at Varick Winery". It has been extensively, but tastefully, altered over the years. The large Italianate brackets would have been added in the 1870s. A Greek Revival portico was added much later. Julius Bull is said to have built this house in 1833. Richard Palmer blog.
First and second floor plans, 1976. Per notation on Permanent File of Cobblestone Structures, porches were added later, confirmed with old photograph of building without porches and using a stone step.
First floor plan, proposed addition to house 9/14/1976, not built. Second floor plan, proposed addition to house 9/14/1976, not built. Shelgren, Patterson & Marzec, Architects.
